As we already know thanks to Colin’s news post, the almighty cockmuncher Michael Atkinson has been buttfucked one too many times resigned from his position as South Australian Attorney-General – despite winning his seat of Croydon on the weekend.
As both gamers and supporters of common sense rejoice at the beheading of one of the most moronic leaders this country has seen in recent years, the question must now be asked: what stands in our way?
While it’s not a clear-cut victory for the legions of gamers hoping for a new classification in the near future, it does send a very clear message to opposition of the proposal that our numbers are sizeable indeed.
I for one will just be happy that I’ll never have to see that shit-eating grin again. Oh, and sift through pages of idiotic sound bites every time I read an article on the policy.
I leave you with but a taste of Michael Atkinson’s legacy.
“People are participating and ‘acting-out’ violence and criminal behaviour when they are playing a video game. They are essentially rehearsing harmful behaviour.”
“I see my children become physically and emotionally obsessed with games, and it is difficult to drag them away from the gaming console.”
“[Some] may believe that the present system restricts adult liberty. It certainly does restrict choice to a small degree, but that is the price of keeping this material from children and vulnerable adults. In my view, the small sacrifice is worth it.”
“I have managed to successfully blow myself.”
